Terms of Service · Last updated 5 September 2026
These terms govern your use of VidhiSar. They say who you are contracting with, what this software does and does not do, what it costs, and what happens when something goes wrong. They are written to be read — if a clause here is unclear, ask us and we will answer plainly.
VidhiSar is operated by Swaraj Layek, an individual proprietor carrying on business in India. There is no company behind the product at present, and we would rather say so here than let a logo imply one. When these terms say "we", "us" or "VidhiSar", that is who is meant. Customer care reaches the same person: infovidhisar@gmail.com, or +91 7810909767 on WhatsApp. A correspondence address for service of notice is available on request at that email, and is supplied within one working day. By creating an account, or by using any part of the service without one, you accept these terms. If you are using VidhiSar for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept them on its behalf, and "you" means that business as well as yourself.
VidhiSar is software. It answers questions about Indian business law against statutory text, drafts documents from templates, reviews contracts for risk, and tracks statutory deadlines with the exposure attached to each. Everything it produces is generated by a machine from the information you give it.
You can hand a matter to an advocate from any plan, including the free one. What we provide is the introduction and the context — the advocate receives the conversation you have already had, so you do not start again.
You need to be eighteen or older to hold an account. Keep your login to yourself: anything done through your account is treated as done by you, so tell us promptly at infovidhisar@gmail.com if you think someone else has access to it. A seat is a person you invite into a business — your CA, your HR lead, your advocate — with their own login and the access their role needs. You are responsible for who you invite and for revoking access when it is no longer appropriate. You can close your account at any time from your profile, and we will delete your data on the terms set out in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that is being used in breach of the section below, and where we do, we will tell you why and refund any unused portion of a paid period.
Prices are shown on the pricing page in Indian rupees and are charged in advance for the period you choose. Each plan carries a monthly allowance of documents, questions and scans; you can also buy a single document on its own, without a plan.
Use VidhiSar for your own business or your clients' work. Do not use it to:
What you upload stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you — to store your documents, process them, and produce what you asked for. We do not sell your content, and we do not use the documents you upload to train models. A document VidhiSar generates for you is yours to use, adapt and execute for your own business or your client's. The templates, the software, the compliance data and the name remain ours; a licence to draft from a template is not a licence to redistribute the library.
We work hard to keep VidhiSar available and correct, and we do not promise it is either. The service is provided as it stands. We do not warrant that an answer, a figure, a deadline or a generated document is accurate, complete, current, or fit for the particular use you have in mind — which is why every one of them tells you to have it reviewed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, business, goodwill or data, or for a penalty, interest or adverse outcome arising from a filing you made, did not make, or made late. Where we are liable, our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or ₹5,000, whichever is higher. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for anything the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 does not permit us to contract out of.
Complaints about the service, about content on it, or about how your data has been handled go to our Grievance Officer, appointed under rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and section 13 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Write in whatever language you are comfortable in — Hindi, English or Hinglish. Tell us what happened and what you would like done about it, and you will get a reply from a person, not a ticket number.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of competent jurisdiction in India will hear any dispute arising out of them. Before either of us goes to court, we would both rather you wrote to the Grievance Officer above — most of what reaches a dispute could have been settled by an email. We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date, and where a change affects what you pay or what you may do, we will tell account holders directly rather than relying on you to notice.
